Below are a range of frequently asked questions in relation to the Australian National Championships.

When are the National Championships?

The 2023 National Championships will be held on the following dates:

U20 & IB – Tuesday 14th – Sunday 19th February
U18 & KCC – Sunday 9th – Sunday 16th April
U16 – Sunday 2nd – Sunday 9th July
U14 – Sunday 24th – Friday 29th September

Where are the National Championships?

The 2023 National Championships will be held in the following locations:

U20 & IB – Geelong Arena, Geelong, Victoria
U18 & KCC – South Pine Sports Complex, Brendale, Queensland & Northside Indoor Sports Centre, Zillmere, Queensland
U16 – Warwick Basketball Stadium, Warwick, Western Australia
U14 – Casey Stadium, Cranbourne East, Victoria

When will the fixture be available?

The 2023 National Championship fixtures will be released on the following dates:
U20 & IB – Monday 16th January
U18 & KCC – Monday 13th March
U16 – Monday 5th June
U14 – Monday 28th August

Do I need to buy tickets to attend the event?

Yes, all spectators will need to purchase tickets to attend the event. You cannot buy tickets in person at the front door you must purchase online.
Tickets for each Championships will go on sale on the same date as the fixture release, as listed below:

U20 & IB – Monday 16th January
U18 & KCC – Monday 13th March
U16 – Monday 5th June
U14 – Monday 28th August

The ticketing categories are Adults, Concession/Student (Must show card on entry), Child U16, Child U6 is Free but must have a ticket.

Will the games be live streamed?

All games from the U20, U18, U16 and U14 National Championships will be live streamed.
Details and links to watch these games will be sent out to states in the lead up to the events.

Can I buy National Championships merchandise?

Official Championship Merchandise will be available for purchase at the venue each day from our partners at iAthletic.
Pre-orders are also available for pick up at the event via www.iathletic.com.au

Can I take photos & videos at the event?

Only mobile phones are allowed for photo use. No cameras and video cameras are to be brought to and used throughout the stadiums for filming by anyone in the public.
All phone photos must be taken from your seats in the grandstand you cannot set up anywhere around the courts to take photos.

Note: No attendee is permitted to video full games or use tripods, monopods, gimbles or similar devices.

All scouts & media MUST BE REGISTERED, how do I apply for media & scouting accreditation? 
With the protection and privacy of our participants in mind, all media and scouts must be signed in and accredited with Basketball Australia.
